Tips for opTiMal froThed Milk
The best results are obtained with milk that has
been refrigerated.
You can use any type of milk for frothing. The
best results are obtained with 1.5% skim milk.
But also try using other milk types from time to
time, each type produces a different consistency
of the froth.

1. Remove all packaging materials and any
transport safeguards.
2. Clean all parts with a damp cloth, as descri-
bed in the chapter "Cleaning and care" on
page 19.

The smooth attachment is optimal for producing hot milk. For technical reasons some
froth also forms when heating milk.
operaTion
1. Place the removable milk canister in the
appliance.
2. Select the desired attachment and fasten it
on the stir rod. The attachments are magne-
tic and consequently are simply placed on
the stir rod.
3. Pour the desired amount of milk into the
canister. Comply with the minimum and
maximum fill quantities to ensure an opti-
mal function:
Frothed milk: Fill a minimum of 100 ml
and a maximum 200 ml of milk in the
container

The two attachments are magnetic and consequently can simply be
placed on the stir rod on the lid. Simply fit the desired attachment on
the stir rod, it stays on by itself.
For people with allergies we recommend soy
milk.
Factors, such as freshness or degree of pasteu-
risation can have an effect on the frothing pro-
cess.
However you can also produce a particularly cre-
amy salad dressing with the milk frother.
3. Check to make sure that the appliance is
stable.
4. Connect the appliance to the mains supply
(220-240 V~, 50/60 Hz) using the supply
cable.
Hot milk: Fill a minimum of 100 ml and a
maximum 400 ml of milk in the container
For easier handling, appropriate marks
are provided in the interior of the canister.
4. Close the appliance with the lid. Turn the lid
until the black arrow on the lid is precisely
above the symbol.
5. Connect the appliance to the mains supply.
A signal tone will sound and all indicator
lights will be illuminated for approx. three
seconds. Then all indicator lights will go
out.
