10. Test Sieving according to ISO 2591-1
During the sieve analysis, a certain quantity of the test product is divided into fractions by one or several
test sieves. The difficulty of the sieve analysis is to determine the separation limit of the separation
procedure which is carried out by sieving. It is therefore recommended to determine the analytical
separation limit.
Details of the basic principals for sieve analysis are included in the standard sheets.

10.1. Largest particle to be permitted on a test sieve
To avoid damage to the test sieve, the size of the largest particle in the charge should not exceed

1.
Put on the sieve pan with outlet (1), the test sieve set (2)
and fill the sieving material in the upper test sieve.
2.
Put on the cover (3) and fix it evenly with the two tension
nuts (4).
3.
Slip the PVC- water hose over the wide spreading spray
diffuser and connect the discharge hose to the outlet of
the sieve pan.
4.
Fix the holding device and the separate control gear to
the wall.

Connect the mains plug, pay attention to
the power supply!
Only connect the control gear delivered with the test
sieve shaker to the drive!
