5. Scope of Delivery

Before you start assembly, check the parts for the scope of delivery of your model.
Main components:
• Fuselage with canopy
• Left and right wings
• Wing plug-in tube
• Tail unit
• Fin
• Motor cowl
• Main landing gear, tail spur, wheel covers, wheels
• Small parts like screws and linkage parts
• Operating instructions
The following components not included in delivery are required for assembly and operation:
Assembly:
Soldering gun, cutter knife, screwdriver, 5-minute epoxy resin, 30-minute epoxy resin, possibly thixotropic agents
(micro-balloon or cotton flock) for thickening the resin, threadlocker varnish, super glue and sand paper.
Attention!
Observe the safety information of the respective manufacturer when using glues and work with glues in well-
ventilated rooms only.
Operation:
Flying requires a suitable (computer) remote control system with at least 5 channels. Furthermore, an electrical motor,
a matching flight controller, a propeller and a propeller tappet, a LiPo-battery 3S / 2200 mAh (discharge rate at least
30C), the matching high-current plugs and 4 servos of the 9 g-class with at least 20 Ncm thrust (ideally with metal gear)
are needed.
Practical advice:
For a model like the „X-Ray ARF", we recommend use of a state-of-the-art 2.4 GHz computer remote control
system with mixing functions. In this case, you have the option of putting every servo to a separate receiver
output to thus set every servo individually.
