shows a time between 6pm and
1am. If you are uncertain of the time
shown by the hands (whether it is am
or pm), move the hour and minute
hands forwards (crown in position 2)
up to 1am, after the date change. Then
correct the date and moon-phases as
necessary, before setting the watch to
the correct time.
Correcting the date (1-31) –
push-piece I
Press push-piece I using the gold sty-
lus. Repeat the operation until the
exact date appears.
Correcting the moon-phases –
push-piece II
Press push-piece II using the stylus,
so as to place the moon in the centre
of the window. Use a diary to count
the days since the last full moon.
Then press the push-piece the
corresponding number of times. In
this way you obtain a precise gearing
of the phases of the moon.
