Steam Sound Tender
THE PROGRAM
This model is part of the Lehmann
TOYTRAIN program of quality trains
and accessories.
For more information on the com-
plete TOYTRAIN program, see the
TOYTRAIN catalog. TOYTRAIN trains
are also compatible with LGB G-scale
trains and accessories.
OPERATION
Preparation
Battery: One 9-volt battery (GLR 61,
MN 1604) is required to operate the
sound system. The battery is not
included with the model.
To install the battery, remove the coal
load from the top of the tender. Con-
nect the battery to the battery cable
inside the tender. Reassemble.
Attention! Use a high-quality battery,
like an "alkaline" battery. Remove the
battery when the model is in storage.
Dispose of old batteries properly.
Sound
To activate the sound system, push
the sound button on top of the ten-
der. The chuff sound will start and
continue for approximately 20 sec-
onds.
MAINTENANCE
Attention! Improper service may
void your warranty. For factory
authorized service, contact an
authorized retailer or send this prod-
uct to an LGB service station (see
Factory Service).

Lubrication
The axle bearings should be lubricat-
ed occasionally with a small amount
of LGB Maintenance Oil (50019).
Cleaning
This model can be cleaned using a
mild detergent and gentle stream of
water. Do not immerse this model. If
this model is equipped with sound
electronics, do not expose the speak-
er directly to water.

Tender avec sonorisation
électronique
LA GAMME TOYTRAIN
Ce modèle réduit fait partie de la
gamme de trains et d'accessoires
haut de gamme Lehmann TOYTRAIN.
Veuillez consulter le catalogue TOY-
TRAIN pour de plus amples informa-
tions sur l'ensemble de la gamme
TOYTRAIN. Les modèles réduits de
trains sont également entièrement
compatibles avec les trains et acces-
soires LGB de taille G.
COMMANDE
Retirez le chargement de charbon
au-dessus du tender, afin de procé-
der au changement de la batterie.
Connectez la batterie au câble de rac-
cordement dans le tender. Remontez
le modèle réduit.
Attention! Utilisez une batterie haut
de gamme, comme une batterie
»alcaline« par exemple. Retirez la
batterie lorsque vous ne vous servez
plus du modèle réduit. Jetez la batte-
rie usagée conformément aux impé-
ratifs écologiques.
Sonorisation électronique
Appuyez sur le bouton situé au-des-
sus du tender pour mettre la sonori-
sation électronique en marche. Le
bruitage de locomotive à vapeur dure
environ 20 secondes.
ENTRETIEN
Attention! Un entretien incorrect
peut annuler votre garantie. Si un
entretien homologué à l'usine s'avè-
re nécessaire, veuillez vous adresser
à votre revendeur agréé ou renvoyer
ce modèle réduit LGB à l'usine (voir
Service de l'usine).
Graissage
Lubrifiez de temps en temps les boî-
tes d'essieu en utilisant quelques
gouttes d'huile spéciale LGB (50019).
Nettoyage
Vous pouvez nettoyer ce modèle
réduit au moyen d'un produit net-
toyant doux et d'un faible jet d'eau.
Ne plongez jamais ce modèle réduit
dans un liquide. Si ce modèle est
équipé d'un système de sonorisation
électronique, veillez à ce que les
haut-parleurs ne soient jamais en
contact direct avec l'eau.
