DESCRIPTION
The Two Hand Anti Tie Down Control unit is suited for industrial machines where
it is desirable to monitor the position of the operator's hands throughout the haz
ardous portion of the machine cycle. This two hand anti tie down valve is a pneu
matic, flange type, unitized control circuit designed to require a machine operator
to push both button controls at the same time in order to produce an output signal
to the machine. The operator must hold the button controls in the pushed position
in order to maintain this output signal. If either push button control is released, in
dicating that the operator's hand is no longer in contact with it, the signal ends and
is exhausted. The signal can only be restarted by releasing both button controls
and pushing them again at the same time. This two hand anti tie down valve pre
vents the operator from tying down one of the button controls and activating the
output only with the other.

WARNING DO NOT USE THIS TWO HAND ANTI TIE DOWN
VALVE WITH ANY TYPE OF REVOLUTIONARY PRESS. This
anti tie down valve only provides the anti tie down logic func
tion and is not a single cycle limiting device. Where repeat
cycles can occur, a single cycle limiting device must be used
together with this anti tie down valve.
A filtered, non lubricated air supply must be used with this
anti tie down valve.
Failure to follow this warning could cause serious injury.
INSTALLATION
Note: Be sure filter screens are properly positioned in input ports before installing
this device. These screens are factory installed and provide added protection
against contaminants getting into the control unit.
