After use
Risk of injury!

Always switch the motor off before you put
the power tool down! When the On/Off
switch is released, the saw chain continue
running briefly.
 Stop the engine.
 Wait until all rotating parts have come to
a standstill.
 Remove the battery.
 Place sheath on cutting mechanism.
 Leave power tool to cool down.
Basic working technique

Operate the saw at a maximum angle of 60
degrees. Never cut a branch directly about
the head!
 Start at the bottom of the trunk and work
upwards.

 For an accurate cut thick branches
should be sawn in œ steps:
– Saw upwards into the branch Œ/3 of the
branch diameter (Œ.).
– A little further up the branch saw
through the branch from top to
bottom (œ.).
 Saw longer branches piece by piece.
 When limbing trunks lying flat on the
ground, first always saw off the branches
pointing upwards. Do not cut through
supporting branches until the trunk has
been sawn into lengths.

Branches which are supported or under
tension may wedge the saw chain in the
wood!
