and should be used only for the applications speci-
fi ed in these instructions.
The user bears the responsibility for damage and
accidents caused by improper use.
4

• Before using the accessories, carefully read
these instructions and the instructions for the
OF 2200 all the way through.
• Keep all of the attached documents and pass
on the documentation if the machine changes
ownership.

Routing with side stop
The side stop is positioned parallel to the work-
piece edge.
– Secure both guide rods [2.4] with the two rotary
knobs [2.2] on the side stop.
– Insert the guide rods into the grooves on the
router base to the required distance and secure
them by turning the rotary knob [2.1].
Fine adjustment
– Unscrew the rotary knob [2.7] to make fi ne
adjustments with the adjusting wheel [2.5].
The dial ring [2.6] has a 0.1 mm scale for this
purpose. If the adjusting wheel is held secure,
the dial ring can be turned separately and set to
"Zero". The millimetre scale [2.3] on the main
casing is useful for making larger adjustments.
– Tighten the rotary knob [2.7] again after com-
pleting any fi ne adjustments.
– Adjust both guidance jaws [3.3] so that they
are approx. 5 mm from the router bit. To do
this, undo screws [3.2] and tighten again after
completing the adjustments.
– Only when routing along an edge: slide the ex-
tractor hood [3.1] until it latches into position
on the side stop and connect an extraction hose
27 mm or 36 mm in diameter to the extractor
connector [3.4]. Alternatively, leave the machine
to extract the dust via the extractor connector.

Copy routing
When routing with templates, fi t an integrated
copying ring to the router.
Copying rings can be used in combination with
the standard base runner. Special base runners
are available to improve the support surface
(see sticker on lid).
An excessively large routing tool may damage
the copying ring and cause accidents.
• Make sure that the routing tool used fits
through the opening on the copying ring.
Procedure
– Lay the machine on its side on a stable base.
– Open the lever [4.4].
– Remove the base runner [4.1].
– Release the lever [4.4] again.
– Insert a copying ring [4.3] in the correct position
on the router base.
