o Before plugging into a socket, it shall be ensured
that the mains voltage matches the voltage
specified on the rating plate.
o To avoid fire, electric shock and personal injury, the
heating base of the appliance, its cord or plug shall
not be immersed into water or any other fluid.
o The appliance shall always be unplugged when not
in use or when left unattended. Moreover, it shall
be allowed to cool before changing accessory or
cleaning.
o Unplug the appliance by grasping the plug and
never by pulling the cord.
o The appliance shall not be operated with a damaged
cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions, or
has been damaged in any manner. It shall be
returned to the nearest authorized service facility
for examination, repair or adjustment.
o Incorrect reassembly or use of any accessory
attachment not recommended or sold by the
manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock or
personal injury and will void the manufacturer's
warranty.
o The power cord shall not hang over the edge of a
table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
