3 Mechanical installation
Installation information
Before transport
ƒ Make sure that all components are securely mounted;
ƒ Make sure that all components with a loose fastening are secured or removed;
ƒ Tighten all transport aids (eyebolts or support plates).
Use lifting devices for the transport! (15)

Stop!
Danger by tipping or falling loads!
Observe carrying capacities!
The payload of the hoists and load handling devices must at least
ƒ
correspond to the weight of the load, for weights see the  delivery
documents.
Secure the load to prevent it from tipping over or falling down.
ƒ
Standing beneath suspended loads is prohibited!
ƒ
Risk of breakage!
The motors are partly equipped with transport eyebolts that are solely
intended for mounting/dismounting the motor to/from the gearbox and that
must not be used for transport of the geared motor!

Stop!
The shaft must not be exposed to knocks or bumps! Motor can be destroyed!
Drive elements must be mounted on the motor shaft via the threading. An
extracting device must be used when dismounting. Fasten coupling securely.
Securely fasten motor and ensure unimpeded ventilation.
