that you plug the RF Repeater into a
wall outlet and use the 9 V block
battery as an emergency power
supply in the event of a power fai-
lure. To connect the power cord, plug
the connector on the end of the
power cord into the corresponding
jack on the left-hand side of the
device. Then plug the power cord
into a wall outlet with a regular
230 V power supply.
2. Inserting the battery
A battery compartment is located on
the back of the RF Repeater . Open it
by sliding the cover of the battery
compartment to the right of the
receiver using your thumb. Connect a
9 V block battery to the connector
plug, place the battery into the
recess and close the receiver again.
When the battery is connected, the
receiving signals may be triggered
once.

2.1 Low battery

If the "low battery indicator" lights
up permanently, this indicates that
the battery is almost dead and must
be replaced.
3. Switching on the device
Set the on/off switch to 'ON'. Now
the RF Repeater is ready to operate.
Once you switch on the device, all
the signal LEDs will light up briefly
one after the other. This self-test
indicates that the device is function-
ing properly.
4. Setting the correct radio
channel
A special digital transmission pro-
cess ensures that the radio signals
are picked up without errors. This
process also makes it possible to set
10 different radio channels.
When supplied from the factory, all
RF Repeaters are set to channel 0.
It is only necessary to set units to
other channels if you have several
different users operating units in the
same building. Set the required
channel by using a small screwdriver
to turn the channel selector switch,
which is located towards the top
