Using the RingFlash 250
Settings on the RingFlash 250
base station
After connecting the RingFlash 250 base sta-
tion correctly, you can define certain settings
for the signal alarm. These settings include
the type of signal alarm, melody for the signal
alarm and volume of the signal alarm�
1� To begin, move the volume slide control
(14) to a low volume (slide the control to
the left)�
2� Initiate a test call in order to test the vo-
lume of the signal alarm and then set the
volume to the level required�
If you have not connected a phone to the
RingFlash 250 base station, do not com-

plete the volume adjustment for the signal
alarm until you have connected a pick-up
to the RingFlash 250 base station�

3� Select the type of signal alarm required
using the sliding switch (15)�
4� By moving the slider from left to right,
you can select from the following types of
signal alarm: flashing light and vibration,
acoustic signal and vibration, flashing
light and acoustic signal without vibration,
no signal enhancement� (Also refer to
Page 29 Quick function overview)
5� The sliding switches for selecting the
melodies (8+9) can be used to select one
melody for the signal alarm of the pick-up
(9) connected to the RingFlash 250 base
station and one melody for the signal
alarm of the telephone (8) connected to
the RingFlash 250 base station� (Also
refer to Page 29 Quick function overview.)
