Stopping the coffee outlet early

Important information
Water tank
If the indicator light 3 flashes uniformly, the
water tank is almost empty and must be refilled.
- Do not pour hot water into the water tank 5!
- Fill the water tank 5 with fresh, cold water
only. Do not use other liquids, e.g. milk.
- There is a min mark on the water tank 5.
Before making coffee, always check that
there is adequate water in the water tank.
- Pour in fresh water daily.
There will always be a little residual water
in the tank 5. This is quite normal.
- Do not remove the water tank 5 while the
appliance is operating.
Coffee pads
- Insert fresh Soft coffee pads only, do not
pour loose coffee into pad holder 11 or 12.
- Do not use damaged coffee pads.
- Do not use espresso coffee pads.
Tip: For a particularly strong coffee insert
2 coffee pads into pad holder 12. Place a small
cup under the outlet and press the ON
button
1 1x.
Controls
The indicator light 3 flashes:
4 again.
- briefly if the appliance requires descaling
(see the chapter on Descaling the
appliance")
- uniformly if the water tank 5 is almost empty
(refill with water).
- very quickly and flickers if a fault has
occurred (see the chapter on Eliminating
minor faults yourself").
Cleaning the appliance

Before cleaning the appliance, pull out the
mains plug.
Never immerse the appliance in water or clean
in the dishwasher.
Do not use a steam cleaner.

Wipe the outside of the appliance with
a damp cloth only. Do not use sharp
or abrasive detergents.

Clean pad holders 11 and 12 under running
water. Clean the opening in the centre of the
