7.4 The tool is not operating or no longer operating satisfactorily

Possible cause
One or more couplers are not connected properly. Disconnect and reconnect the coupler(s).
The pressure relief valve on the pump is in the
pressure relief position.
The pump not in a level position.
There is not enough oil in the oil tank.
The oil is foaming.
The load is excessive.
The plunger is seized in the cylinder.
7.5 The pump leaks oil

Possible cause
There is too much oil in the oil tank.
The couplers are not connected correctly.
7.6 The pump leaks oil from the tank vent during transport

Possible cause
Check whether the air vent on the tank is closed.
8 Maintenance
8.1 General

Proper preventive maintenance of the equipment preserves the operational safety and extends the life
of the equipment.

When performing maintenance activities, always comply with the relevant safety regulations.
Wear the prescribed personal protection equipment.
HTW/FTW/HTT
Solution
Set the pressure relief valve on the pump to the
operation position.
Place the pump horizontally.
Bring the oil level back to the correct level, after
setting all tools in the output position.
Vent the oil tank
Do not load a tool more than the maximum
allowed.
Have it repaired by a Holmatro Certified
Technician.
Solution
Bring the oil level back to the correct level, after
setting all tools in the output position.
Tighten loose couplers.
Solution
Close the air vent on the tank.
