Training with the tyre slipping can permanently
damage the Elastogel roller.
• Power Mag Smart B+ calculates power by
means of mathematical formulas and it is only an
estimate of the power output of the cyclist. Many
variables affect the resistance of a hometrainer,
some of which aren't controlled by the sensor (for
instance, tyre pressure, tyre type and so on), so
determining the error in power measurement
calculated by Power Mag Smart B+ is impossible.
• Remove the battery when not in use for long
periods.
• If the battery is replaced with one of the
wrong type there will be risk of explosion.
The computer of the Power Mag Smart B+ uses a
CR2032 type battery.
• Places near TV sets, radios and engines generate
strong waves and electromagnetic interferences,
which can result in incorrect measurements.
Avoid using the device within a radius of about a
meter and a half from other transmitters.
Do not use other wireless devices simultaneously
as you might obtain incorrect measurements.
Any other power/cadence/speed sensors installed
on your bicycle can create interferences.
