REPLACING THE BATTERIES
Turn the headset off before replacing the AAA batteries. Lift the battery compartment cover
(A:4) with your fingers. Position the +/- minus poles of the batteries as indicated within the
battery compartment. Replace the battery cover by pressing down firmly.
NOTE: Remove the batteries when storing the headset for extended periods of time.
• Do not mix old and new batteries.
• Do not mix alkaline, standard, or rechargeable batteries.
• To properly dispose of the battery, follow local solid waste
disposal regulations.
TROUBLESHOOTING

Drained batteries
Battery improperly installed
Poor headset and PTT
connection
Non-functioning PTT
Non-functioning
communications (comms)
microphone (A:6)
Non-NATO wired PTT
Suggestion
Replace batteries
Check polarity
Ensure the headset plug is fully seated by firmly
inserting it into the PTT housing and rotating 180°
If a "known good" PTT is available, swap with
the problem PTT. If problem is solved, replace
the problem PTT.
Check the comms microphone connection on
the backside of the earcup. If problem persists,
replace comms microphone with a "known good"
microphone. If problem is solved, replace comms
microphone.

Have headset model, PTT model and radio model
available.
