The brake resistor cycle t = 150 s and the max. total braking time t

= 10 s are given. The braking times t and the process cycle t are
brk cyc,Prc
exemplary.
In the above example, the dimensioning condition is observed at all times. In the
example below, the dimensioning condition is once not observed, which means
that the brake resistor selected is not suitable for the process specified. Use a
brake resistor with a greater power (shorter brake resistor cycle t ).
