Description

The DC 380 Air Cleaner is intended for cleaning
the air in a work area and is intended for use as a
compliment to spot extraction. Air is cycled through
a combination fi lter and a microfi lter. The microfi lter
or HEPA fi lter in principle separates all particles from
the air stream which passes through it. The com-
bination fi lter separates the majority of the particles
and thereby prolonging the life of the microfi lter.

Operation

Connect the machine to a suitable power source
according to the specifi cation plate on the machine.
When using an extension cable with the machine,
insure that the connection is water tight and the ex-
tension cable is suitably rated.
The fi lter condition indicator reads always red when
the machine is run at low speed.
The fi lter monitor indicates when the fi lters require
changing.
The fan has two speed settings which allow for eco-
nomical running, for example during the night.
The DC 380 can also be used to discharge air for work
places which must be kept under negative pressure
by attaching a 125 mm hose to the fan outlet.
For checking the condition of the fi lter the machine
must be run at high speed.
When the fi lter condition indicator shows red at the
higher speed, the combination fi lter, art. nr. 4080
should be changed. If the indicator continues to show
red it will be necessary to change the microfi lter
(H.E.P.A. fi lter) part no. 4079.
