Description

Th e DC 3800 EX shall be used for suction and separa-
tion of dried dust. It has been developed for explosion
risk environments and for companies who have high
demands for clean production, e.g. companies within
the food, electronics or woodwork industries.
Th e DC 3800 EX is driven by 2 single phase, two
stage fans.

Operation

Connect the unit to a suitable power source, note re-
quirements on the ID plate. If an extension cord is to
be used, only waterproof cords are acceptable.
Th e DC 3800 EX is equipped with a fi lter indication
lamp that indicates when the fi lter needs cleaning or
changing.
Th e fi lter is generally cleaned once or twice daily dur-
ing normal continuous operation. Th e unit must be
in operation to perform fi lter cleaning. Loose the tube
from the suction pipe and press the plastic cage against
the black stop head on the exhaust channel so that
maximum pressure is created in the cyclone.

Th ere is a jacket mounted at the top of the fi lter cart-

from the hose. Reverse pulse fi lter cleaning gives long
fi lter life and a consistently high suction capacity. Th e
machine is equipped with a HEPA fi lter.
Open the port on the side of the unit three to six times.
Th is reverse pulse of air cleans the fi lter.
Th e container under the cyclone should be emptied
when it is fi lled to ca 2/3.
