Adjust flow temperature at heating
element at least 20° C
Control-lamp at the heating element only
illuminates if the heating element is heating.
Temperature at STB
(Security Temperature Limiter)
sensor exceeds 90° C
Errors / Interferences
Heating element does not heat,
water does not get warm.
Pump is not running

Control System
Reaction: Heating Unit
Circulation pump and heating element are out of service.
Circulation pump runs.
Heating element is working.
-> Heating unit starts to heat, when the outgoing
water temperature falls below the adjusted temperature.
Heating unit warms up water until adjusted and desired water
temperature value is reached at temperature sensor.
(Sensor is situated at the heating element)
Control lamp at heating element illuminates.
After having reached desired temperature, heating element
switches off. Control lamp at heating element stops to
illuminate. When the temperature falls below desired value,
heating element switches on automatically............
Control lamp at heating element switches off. Security
temperature limiter (STB) triggers. Heating element stops to
heat. After cooling down phase -> it is necessary to switch
on STB manually!
Re-start, see description for STB activation, page 24 .
- Main switch stands on - 0 - position
- Plug of heating element is not connected
- Residual current device (RCD) is activated
- STB of the heating element is activated
- Flow temperature did not yet fall below adjusted
temperature (at heating element)
