FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Remove the bumper. Remove the plastic inner section. It will no longer
be used.
2. Cut the template out and place it on the underside in the middle of the
bumper. Cut out the part indicated in fig.1.
3. Attach the M8 serbloc nuts at points B in the rearmost cross beam of the
chassis. Place the tow bar underneath the vehicle with holes B aligned
with the M8 serbloc nuts and holes A with the holes already in the chas-
sis.
4. Attach three M12x100 and three M12x110 bolts with flat washers under
the bolt head at holes A as shown in the sketch. Fit 25x5 L=64mm
spacer bushes over the bolt ends in the chassis. Attach the entire
assembly with six self-locking nuts and flat washers.
5. Attach four M8x25 bolts with ø30x8.4x1,5 bodywork washers at points
B. Tighten all nuts and bolts to the torques listed in the table. Replace
the bumper. The ball hitch gets attached to the tow bar with two
M12x65/ 21.2 bolts, flat washers and self-locking nuts.

NOTE:
* Remove the insulating material from the contact area of the fitting points.
* All bolts are quality 8.8 - nuts 8. or when mentioned in fitting instructions
10.9 / 10.
* Don't forget the spring- and plain washers.
* Consult your dealer for the maximum tolerated pull weight and ball
hitch pressure of your vehicle.
* It is recommendable to retighten all fixing bolts and nuts after the towbar
has been in use for some 1000 km/600 miles.
* Do not drill through brake-or fuellines.
* Remove (if present) the plastic caps from the spot welding nuts.
