Even if you use this electric power tool in
accordance with instructions, certain residual
risks cannot be rules out. The following hazards
may arise in connection with the equipment's
construction and layout:
1. Lung damage if no suitable protective dust mask
is used.
2. Damage to hearing if no suitable ear protection is
used.
3. Health damage caused by hand-arm vibrations if
the equipment is used over a prolonged period or
is not properly guided and maintained.
6. Before starting the equipment
Before you connect the equipment to the power
supply make sure that the data on the rating plate are
identical to the supply voltage.
Always pull out the power plug before making
adjustments to the equipment.
6.1. Mounting the suction tube (Fig. 3a-3e)

6.2. Mounting the debris bag (Fig. 4a-4c)
Insert the socket (Fig. 4A / Item 14) into the motor
housing. Make sure there is an audible click when it
latches in place! Hang the hook on the suction tube
(Fig. 4b / Item 2). Then slip the debris bag over the
socket on the motor housing; it engages correctly
when it makes an audible click (Fig. 4c).
6.3 Fitting the additional handle (Fig. 5a-5c)
Undo the screw (Fig. 5a/Item A) from the steady grip
(Fig. 5a/Item 3). Then plug the steady grip in the
direction of the arrow onto the motor unit as shown in
Fig. 5b.
Important: The locking lever must be on the right-
hand side! Then tighten the screw with the locking
lever closed.
Start up the equipment only when fully assembled.
Always inspect the power cable for damage before
starting up. The equipment may be used only if the
cable is in flawless condition.
6.4 Fitting the cleaning flap (Fig. 6a and 6b)
Plug the cleaning flap into the motor unit as shown in
Fig. 6a. When you fit the flap, make sure that the nib at
the bottom end of the cleaning cover is inserted into
the corresponding recess in the housing. Now tighten
the fastening screw (Fig. 6b/Item A).
Important! If the cleaning cover is not correctly
