∙ The electrical connections
in the base must be
protected at all times
against possible contact
with water.
∙ Do not clean the water
container and the base with
liquids and do not immerse
them; do not clean under
running water.
∙ The kettle may only
be operated with the
base provided with the
appliance.
∙ Never remove the water
container from the base
(or replace it) while the
appliance is switched on.
Danger of burns and
scalding
∙ The exterior surfaces
become hot during use and
will remain so for some
time afterwards.
∙ Do not leave the kettle
unattended during
operation. Use only pure
water when fi lling the
container to the desired
level, observing the Min.
(0.5 l) and Max. (1.5 l for
tea or 1.7 l for water only)
markings. Overfi lling
the container may cause
danger if boiling water is
forced out.
∙ For boiling water only,
always remove the tea
fi lter.
∙ Do not exceed to 70 °C
when re-heating tea.
Caution: Do not bring to a
boil, as the liquid may foam
over.
∙ Also beware of the danger
of scalding from hot steam
being emitted. Therefore,
do not touch any parts of
the appliance except the
handle during use.
