Release the actuation arm again.
The splitting column drives to its maximum splitting length.

Then firmly retighten the star grip screw.

Cleaning and maintenance

Danger during maintenance, servicing and cleaning work
with a running drive!
Injuries are possible.
›
Switch off the drive before performing maintenance, servicing
and cleaning work, and secure the wood splitter against switching
on again.
You must perform the following work if necessary:
• Clean the wood splitter of wood residues, wood chips and other dirt
• Grease the splitting column guide (see Page 57)
• Check the hydraulic oil level and top up the oil if necessary
(see Page 58)
• With an oil loss, check the leak­tightness of the complete hydraulic
system (hoses and screw connections)
• Lubricate all moving parts if necessary

Greasing the splitting column guides

To guarantee faultless driving of the splitting column, you must grease
this regularly. You can use conventional grease for this.

Apply a small amount of grease at the point where the splitting
column enters the polyamide guides.
