Attach ceiling plate and attached extension column to
ceiling following instructions for corresponding ceiling
structure.
5.
Maneuver shield ring (B) so that it wraps around extension
column. (See Figure 11)
6.
Wrap ring (B) around extension column. (See Figure 11)
7.
Press ring (B) into hole cut in Step 3 until the ring securely
fits in hole. (See Figure 11)

SLMU Installation
Remove Screw Adapters from SLMU Legs
1.
Press locking buttons on SLMU leg (K) firmly and
simultaneously push clip cover toward enclosed sliding stud
mount bracket and screw. (See Figure 13)
2.
Screw adapter and attached height-adjustment nut will be
released. Set aside for later use. (See Figure 13)
3.
Repeat Steps 1-2 for each leg to be used in installation.

Attach Projector to SLMU
WARNING:
Exceeding the weight capacity can result in
serious personal injury or damage to equipment! It is the
installer's responsibility to make sure the combined weight of
all components attached to the SLMU interface brackets
does not exceed 50 lbs (22.68 kg).
1.
Determine proper size screw to insert into projector. Test
Phillips screws (N, P, Q, R or S) provided until one fits the
projector holes.
2.
Insert screws through screw adapters with height-
adjustable nuts and into projector holes. (See Figure 14)
NOTE:
Only use washers (T) if using N or P screws to attach
screw adapters to projector.
