Weighing and
measuring body fat,
water content and
muscle mass
3. Enter your sex by pressing the Up (+) button

to select the appropriate symbol in the display. Press the OK
button
to confirm your selection. The display switches to the height
setting.
4. Press the Up (+) button
height. You can enter a height from 75 to 215 cm in 1 cm increments.
Press the OK button
to the age setting.
5. Press the Up (+) button
You can enter an age from 10 - 99 years. Press the OK button
confirm your selection. The preset number "01" appears again in the
display.
6. The setting procedure is now complete. The scales switch off automati-
cally after 3 seconds.
NOTE
Reliable measurements can only be achieved under certain
circumstances, as described in "2.4 Prerequisites for correct
measuring results", p. 12.
1. Place the scales on a firm, hard surface. All four feet must be in contact
with the floor.
2. Touch the Start button
number appears in the display. The readings last stored for you appear:
weight, body fat, body water and body muscle. Before the first measure-
ment, "888" appears in the display. After 2 seconds, "0.0" appears in
the display.
3. Step onto the scales with bare feet and stand still. Place your feet on the
electrodes
. First, your weight is displayed. A moving "❑" then
appears in the display, indicating that your body fat, water and muscle are
now being automatically measured. When the "❑" disappears from the
display, your total body fat (TBF), body water (TBW) and body muscle
(TBM) are displayed.
