The unit features a stable drawer that may come out up to the stop during transport if horizontal
transport is not ensured. Please secure the drawer adequately!
5. Storage and transport information
The light-curing units must be stored in the original packaging and in dry rooms. Units are shipped in the
original cardboard box; when using different packaging for shipment, any damage to the unit will be at the
expense of the buyer!

6. Disposal of the unit

The unit should be disposed of in accordance with the statutory provisions for the disposal of used
electronic equipment of the respective country.

7. Putting into operation

bre.Lux PowerUnit 2 and bre.Lux LED N2 may only be operated by qualifi ed and trained staff, such as dental
technicians and dentist and by persons who are instructed and supervised by these experts.

7.1 bre.Lux PowerUnit 2

⇒ First connect the power cord with the unit and then to AC power source.
⇒ Use the main switch (rear of the housing) to switch the unit on.
⇒ The display shows bre.Lux PowerUnit 2 and the version.
⇒ The fan will start when the unit is put into operation regardless of any key that has been previously
selected.
⇒ No air turbulence will be formed inside the light-curing chamber.
⇒ At the end of a program is started, the cycles of the default and individual programs are displayed until
completion of the program.
⇒ All programs can be aborted by pressing the Start/stop key.
⇒ Individual programs can be interrupted and continued by opening or closing the drawer.

7.2 bre.Lux LED N2

⇒ First connect the coiled cord to the plug-in power unit and then to AC power supply.
⇒ Plug the hand lamp (tapering section of the lamp) into the black clip and align the lamp.
⇒ Position the protective eyeshield!
⇒ Start continuous operation - 15 sec or 30 sec.
⇒ All programs can be aborted with the Start/Stop key.

9.1 Keyboard layout and functions

9.1.1 bre.Lux PowerUnit 2 (basic unit)

Distinctive features of the default (fi xed) programs (immediate start)
F1 (90s):
30s / 50 % light output, then linear increase to 100 % with a remaining time of up to 90 sec.
F2 (180s):
30s / 50 % light output, then change to 100 % and fi nal change to 80 % with a remaining time of up to
180 sec.
F3 (360s):
30s / 50 % light output, then linear increase to 100 % + holding time, repetitive change, between 50 % and
100 % until the end of the program after 360 sec.
F4 (F2 minus elapsed time F1):
Press default program F1 and then F2
