Installation
1. Make sure that the unit is switched off. Insert one end of the supplied mains lead into the socket on the unit and
turn it at about 10 degrees until the mains lead is firmly fixed. Connect the other end to an appropriate mains outlet.
Make sure that the mains outlet delivers the required voltage and that it is grounded.
2. Connect the hose and nozzle to the unit. The length of the hose is 2m but can be adjusted to the required
length.
3. Fill the tank with AFX PROSMOKE5L-LOW fluid and screw the bottle cap tightly.
Operation
1. Turn on the red power button. The LCD panel will display "WARMING UP". When the heating up is finished, the
LCD display will show "Ready to fog".
2. Please refer to the instructions on the LCD control panel to set up the machine.
3. The STRATUS1500 supports the DMX-512 protocol, with built-in 3-pin and 5-pin sockets. Please refer to DMX
operation instructions for more information.
4. At the first use, please wait until the LCD display shows "Ready to fog" and then press the "Volume" function key
to start working.
Wireless remote Control
The remote control contains a 12Vdc battery. It has a working distance about 20m.
Prior to using the machine for the first time, you have to match the transmitter with the receiver.
In the menu of the unit select the page "rEMo".
Press ENTER and select ON via the UP/DOWN buttons. Press ENTER again.
Match the transmitter within the first 15 seconds after switching the machine on.
Press the ON button on the transmitter until the digital display twinkles twice. It means that transmitter and receiver
have been successfully matched.
When the unit is powered on and the wireless function is activated, the display shows "wireless setup".
If the wireless function is deactivated, the LCD shows "Wireless Set Off".
When the unit is controlled via the wireless controller, the output volume will follow the "Volume Out" setting on the
LCD. E.g. if the volume on the LCD is set to 1%, the output will be at minimum. If it is set to 100%, it will be at
maximum.
Please note that the wireless control doesn't work during DMX operation.
