Put the fixing lamp into a position so that the deformation of the dent is viewable in
the neon light.
Clean the repair position with 1K-PUR/ASK-Cleaner R540.
Mark the water soluble dent with a pen. This makes the identification of the dent
easier.
Select the size of the adhesive-adapter according to the diameter of the dent.
Apply a small drop onto the adhesive-adapter with the hot adhesive gun.
Put the adhesive-adapter exactly in the middle of the dent and slightly press it on.
An adhesive layer between the adhesive-adapter and the sheet of approx.1mm has
to be given. The adhesive-adapter has to be attached very quickly to prevent an
early cooling down of the adhesive. Let the adhesive dry for approx. 1-2 minutes.
Apply the repair bridge to the adhesive-adapter and adjust it parallel to the sheet
part by turning the nut.
Reform the dent carefully by turning the lever at the repair bridge. If necessary
overlap the dent a little to prevent a spring back of the sheet.
Remove the repair bridge and the adhesive-adapter after the extraction of the dent.
In most cases the adhesive-adapter loosens itself from the adhesive.
Crack formation on the lacquer is possible.
No hardening of the adhesive.
