4.3.1 DC voltage measurements
1. Turn selector switch (2) "
2. Plug the black test lead into the "COM" socket and the red lead
into the "+" socket.
3. Connect the probes to the UUT and read the display.
If the display is not visible during measurement, press "HOLD"
button (3) to retain the display. the probes can then be removed
from the conductor and the stored value read.
4.3.2 AC voltage measurements
1. Turn selector switch (2) to "; V".
2. Plug the black test lead into the "COM" socket and the red lead
into the "+" socket.
3. If the display ist not visible during measurement, press the
"HOLD" button (3) to retain the display.
If the display is not visible during measurement, press "HOLD"
button (3) to retain the display. the probes can then be removed
from the conductor and the stored value read.
4.4 Frequency measurements
WARNING !
Never measure in uninsulated conductors carrying more than
250 V !
DANGER !
Do not connect more than 750 V AC or 1000 V DC to the input
sockets. Exceeding these values can endanger the operator, and
may result in damage to the instrument.
WARNING !
Before switching to a new function, disconnect probes from the
UUT.
DANGER !
Only handle test leads and probes on the grips provided. Avoid
touching the probes under any circumstances.
With the UNITEST Clamp Meters you can measure frequency in
both the current and voltage modes.
1. Turn selector switch (2) to "Hz"..
2. Measurement in current mode (Clamp Meter CHB 35 only):
open the clamp, and close it round the conductor.
Make sure that the clamp properly encircles the conductor, and
that there is no air gap between the jaws.
