10. Installation
Proceed as follows when installing the camera.
1.
Select a suitable place to mount the camera.
2.
Connect the video cable (recommended cable type: RG59) with the BNC video output of
the camera and the device directly connected to the camera. The maximum cable length
must not exceed 200 m.
3.
Connect a power supply to the camera.
4.
Hold the camera at the location where you want to mount it. Check the orientation and
angle of the camera.
5.
Select the required settings in the camera's programming menu.
6.
Set the required zoom range.
7.
Fasten the camera. Make sure that the camera when outdoors has sufficient protection
(e.g., heated, weatherproof housing).
8.
After completing your settings, push the protective cover over the keypad and seal the
position with the sticker supplied. (Note: The sticker can only be used once.)
