Operation and maintenance
Remove all packaging of the device.
Check if the voltage of the appliance corresponds to the main voltage of your home.
Rated voltage : AC220-240V 50Hz.
Place the device on a flat stable surface and ensure a minimum of 10 cm. free space around
the device. This device is not suitable for installation in a cabinet or for outside use.
Before first use
Take the removable filter out of the funnel (No. 2) rinse the filter and the coffeepot (No. 4) with
hot water. Half-fill the water tank (No. 3) with water and place the filter and the coffeepot back
on the device. Turn the on/off switch (No. 6) to ON. The device is rinsed with hot water.
Turn the machine off and empty the coffeepot. Attention! The water is hot.
Your coffee machine is ready for use.
Use
Fill the reservoir with the desired quantity of clean drinking water. Place a paper coffee filter in
the removable filter or just use the removable filter only, depending on your needs.
Fill the filter with the desired amount of ground coffee.
Place the coffeepot (No. 4) underneath the filter and switch the device to ON.
Make sure the coffeepot is placed correctly on the hotplate.
When you remove the coffeepot from this appliance, a non-drip valve will automatically
operate and prevents drops of coffee dripping onto the hotplate (No. 5). Replacement of the
coffeepot automatically opens the non-drip valve and allows any remaining coffee to filter
through into the coffeepot. Wait until the brewing process is finished and the filter is empty.
Switch off the device when it is ready. If you want to keep the coffee hot, place the coffeepot
back at the hotplate and switch the device to ON. Your coffee will remain hot for several hours.
Cleaning the device
Remove the detachable filter out and empty it into the bin. Rinse the removable filter and the
coffeepot after use with hot water. Remove the other filter regularly and rinse it with warm
water. These parts are not suitable for the dishwasher. Decalcifying the coffee machine
prolongs it's life span. For decalcification only use products especially made for decalcification
of coffee machines. Always rinse the device with water after decalcification.
The outside surface of the coffee maker should be cleaned with a damp cloth.
Your coffee will remain hot at the
hotplate (No. 5). Be sure the device
is switched to ON.
