Care & maintenance - Removing the fabric cover
To remove the cover, separate the backrest from the seat as shown.

Removing the backrest cover: undo the hem of the backrest cover from the four clips on the
back of the car seat.

Removing the seat cover: stretch the elasticized hem of the booster seat cover over the sides
of the booster seat.
Slide the cover off the armrests than carefully pull the cover from the plastic moulding around
the harness release button. Wash the cover following the instructions on the wash-care label
on the cover. Refi tting the cover is the reverse of removal.
Final check list
1 Check that the vehicle seat diagonal belt is in the correct position for your child
2 Check that both Isofi x connectors are properly attached to the Isofi x anchor points
3 Check that the vehicles seat belt is correctly fi tted around the car seat
4 Check that the vehicles seat belt has not become twisted or trapped in any way
5 Check that the vehicles seat belt is fully tightened and the car seat is held fi rmly against
the vehicle seat .
Remember: Although this child seat has been designed and approved by the latests ECE
Standards, an incorrect installation or use may not guarantee your child in case of accident.
So, always follow the check list above before starting any journey with the car seat fi tted in
your vehicle. Even when the car seat has been left fi tted in the vehicle, always check that
the vehicles seat belt is correctly positioned before placing your child in the Q-Fix 2,3 child
seat.
Fabric care
In case of light soiling, sponge the fabric cover with a mild detergent and warm water. Or,
refer to the care label attached to the fabric cover.
