place, preferably with the car seat or in the vehicle so that you can fi nd them for future refer-
ence.
Ensure that, once the car seat is fi tted, no parts of the seat or vehicles seat belt can get
trapped by a folding seat or the vehicle door.
Make sure that the vehicles seat belt is tight and the car seat is held fi rmly in place every
time you use the car seat.
Check every time you fi t the car seat that the vehicle seat belt has not become twisted.
Check every time you place your child in the car seat that the safety harness is properly
adjusted and the buckle is correctly locked.
Regularly check the car seat for signs of wear, especially the cover.
VERY IMPORTANT : The car seat safety belt MUST ALWAYS be used, according to these
instructions. the Isofi x connectors must be considered as an additional fi tting only.
Before travelling, check that luggage or other heavy or sharp objects are secured in the car.
Loose objects are liable to cause injury in the event of an accident.
When travelling with other passengers using both the front and rear seats, the lighter oc-
cupant should be in the rear of the vehicle and the heavier occupant in the front passenger
seat.
Whenever the car seat is left in the vehicle without the child in it, always ensure it is correctly
fi tted using the vehicle seat belt and (possibly) the Isofi x connectors, to prevent it from being
thrown about in the event of an accident.
Car interiors can become very hot when left in direct sunlight. It is therefore recommended
that the car seat, when not in use, is covered by ( for example ) a towel. This prevents compo-
nents, particularly those attached to the child car seat, becoming hot and burning the child.
Things not to do
Never use the child seat without fastening the child's harness correctly, and never use it
without fastening it into the car as described in these fi tting instructions.
IMPORTANT: Never install the seat by using only the Isofi x connectors. They must
ALWAYS be used in combination with one of the car safety seat belts.
Never place any padding between the base of the car seat and the vehicle seat, as it could
impair the safety of the car seat.
Do not add or modify this product in any way.
Never use spare parts that are not recommended or supplied by the manufacturer.
any unauthorized modifi cation to this child safety seat, may invalidate the ECE homologa-
tion.
Do not leave a child in the seat or in the car unattended, at any time.
Do not allow children to play with this child seat.
Never install nor take out of the car this child seat with your child in it;
Never use this child seat without its cover, which constitutes an integral part of the restraint
and should not be replaced with any other than the one recommended by the manufacturer,
Do not allow your car seat to come into contact with corrosive substances e.g. battery acid,
solvents etc..
Never use this child seat if it has been in an accident, or it has badly worn out.
