transportation
You can fold up the scooter in order to save space during transportation.
Switch off the scooter.
- Remove the armrests (Fig. 29) and then fold the back rest forwards
onto the seat as described in Section 3.5.2.
33
Remove the basket (Fig. 30).
Fold the steering column towards the foot area (Fig. 31).
Depending on the available space, it is sufficient to fold down
the back rest and steering column and secure the scooter using
securing straps on the frame (Fig. 32).
Carefully protect the scooter against slipping by attaching the
securing straps at the designated holding points.
The scooter, including the batteries, is generally suitable for
transportation on an aircraft. You can find out the transportation

4.7. Disassembling for storage

For storage, you must also remove the batteries, be extremely careful.
Avoid handling metal tools, touching the battery terminals and observe
the instructions of the battery manufacturer.
This work should only be done by a trained technici-
an. There is danger of fatal injury!
For your safety, the seat must be lifted by two peop-
le, as it is the heaviest individual part.
You will firstly need to remove the seat and the panel.
Remove the seat by pulling it upwards.
The panel is fixed in place with 2 hand screws.
Undo these screws and remove the panel.
Disconnect the plug connection for the rear lighting.
The batteries should then be removed. To make this easier, the
cables are fitted with plug connections.
Disconnect the plug connections (Fig. 34) for both batteries.
Then undo the screw on the mounting bracket (Fig. 35). You do not
need to completely remove the screw in order to do this.

4.8. Taking on public transport

Your scooter is not suitable to be taken on public transport and is not
authorised to bear the corresponding sticker (Fig. A) .
