3.5. Basic adjustments
Before using the scooter for the first time, it is necessary to adjust the
scooter according to your height. This is essential to ensure that your
posture is physiologically correct for driving for extended periods of
time without excessive fatigue. The basic adjustments of the scooter
are described below. You should carry out these adjustments with the
help of your medical supply dealer.
3.5.1. Steering column
Adjusting the steering column of your scooter enables you to set the
driving position so that it is comfortable. You can make the adjustment
while seated in the driver's seat.
•
Hold the handlebar with one hand and activate the adjusting lever
with the other hand (Fig. 03).
•
Move the steering column into the required position and release
the lever.
3.5.2. Seat
The seat height can be adjusted and the seat can also be moved
forwards and backwards as well as rotated to the side.
Rotating the seat
•
Push down the lever (located on the right underneath the seat
surface, Fig. 4). The seat can now be rotated in both directions.
•
There is a fixed lock-in position for the seat every 45°.
•
Release the lever and make sure that the seat is locked in position
again.
3.5.3. XL seat (optional)
As an option, an XL seat is available for the Centuro S7 (see Chapter
2.1
5, Technical Data). A compatible seatbelt is also optionally available
for the XL seat.
