5 Starting up the studio flash unit
In order to prevent damage to the studio
flash unit, please start-up the studio flash
unit for the first time by taking the following
steps in the given order:
1. Remove the protective cap (see 5.1.1)
2. Plug in the bulb of the modelling lamp
(see 5.1.2)
3. Attach the reflector (see 5.1.3)
4. Mount the studio flash unit on a tripod
(see 5.1.4)
5. Connect the studio flash unit to a power
supply (see 5.1.5)
6. Switch on the studio flash unit (see 5.1.6)
