Overview
IR Remote
The IR Remote may be used locally or remotely to control the HDMI
Matrix and also the Wireless Extender.

Installation
For information on the installation of the Wireless Extender please refer to the manual supplied with that
product.
Important! Before starting the installation, please ensure that all devices are powered off.
1. If already connected please disconnect the Power Jack and HDMI cable from the Wireless Extender
Transmitter unit.
2. Align the DC 5V, HD Out B and IR Out connectors of the HDMI Matrix with the matching ports on the
Transmitter unit and gently push the two units together until the plastic housings meet.
3. Connect HDMI source devices to HD In ports 1 – 4 and your local HDMI display to HD Out A using
HDMI cables (not included).
4. Connect the IR Blaster cable to the IR port on the side of the HDMI Matrix and position each of the
the IR Eyes infront of the IR port on each of your source equipment (The Eyes are labelled 1 – 4 to
correspond with the HD In ports).
5. Reconnect the Power Jack and switch the Matrix and Wireless Extender on.
Operation
There are two ways of operating the HDMI Matrix, you may use the push buttons located on the top of
the Matrix or alternatively used the supplied IR Remote Control.
Using the push buttons on the top of the Matrix will enables you to cycle through the available inputs.
Each push of button A will move to the next HDMI input for the local HDMI display, likewise each push of
button B will move to the next HDMI input for the Wireless Extender HDMI display.
Using the IR Remote Control, simply press the key that corresponds to the HDMI display and source that
you want to view. Output A is the local HDMI display, Output B is the Wireless Extender HDMI display,
so for example pressing B2 would switch Output B to HD In 2 and so on.
