SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- It is important to follow these safety instructions to avoid personal injury and damage to the patio
heater. Also read the instructions for use before using the heater. Keep the instructions for future
reference.
Do not use the heater if it is damaged. Turn the heater off immediately and take the plug out of
the wall socket at the first sign of damage or unusual sound or smell. If this happens, contact an
authorised service centre.
Do not use the heater if the electric cable is damaged. A damaged cable should be replaced
immediately. Contact an authorised service centre. Risk of electric shock.
- Hold the electric plug, not the cable, when you take it out of the wall socket. Otherwise the switch
and cable may be damaged, resulting in a risk of electric shock.
- Only connect the heater to a wall socket that complies with the specifications. Check that the
mains voltage where you are using the heater corresponds to the voltage specified on the type plate.
This equipment is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical strength (including
children) or those with sensory or mental disabilities, or by those without the necessary knowledge
and experience. In such cases they must be guided or instructed in the use of the equipment by a
person who is responsible for their safety. Children must be supervised so that they do not play with
the equipment.
- Never remove any parts from the heater. Do not stick objects into the openings in the heater. This
can result in an electric shock! Repairs that are not described in these instructions for use should
only be carried out at an authorised service centre!
- Never place the heater in water or any other liquid. Water combined with electricity can cause life-
threatening electric shocks.
- Never leave the equipment unguarded while it is in use. Always take the plug out of the socket
after use.
- Do not cover the heater or place it near easily ignited objects.
- The unit must not be used in combination with a timer, program control or other fixture that will
start the heater automatically. The unit must not be placed directly under a wall socket.
- The unit must only be used for its intended purpose, and only for private use.
- Only for private use.
GUARANTEE: The product guarantee is valid for two years and covers manufacturing defects.
The guarantee does not cover cases where the equipment has been exposed to excess voltage
from the power supply. The guarantee is voided if damage has been caused or repairs have been
attempted by the customer.
INFORMATION ABOUT ENVIRONMENTALLY DANGEROUS WASTE: Worn out electrical
products must not be disposed of along with ordinary household waste, but should be taken to a
recycling station.
