Caution! Exposing the skin to the artificial radiation of a UV light-
emitting device can cause skin cancer or eye cancer.
To protect the eyes, safety goggles should be worn during expo-
sure to artificial UV light.
Due to the UV radiation, there is a risk of cancer from the very
first use of a UV device.
Therefore, the use of a UV device is not recommended. There is
a negative correlation between use of such devices and health
risks and therefore risk assessments come out to the detriment of
the UV device.
Attention! Do not use cosmetics before using a UV device, be-
cause of the risk of allergies or skin irritation. Use sunscreen or
cosmetics that accelerate the tanning.
Do not use the UV device if you are taking medicines (including
antibiotics, sedatives, antidepressants or antiseptics), which in-
crease the responsivity against UV radiation. If in doubt, consult
a doctor or pharmacist before using the UV device.
Notices regarding your health
The use of a UV device can cause irreversible damage, such
as skin cancer, eye injuries, premature ageing of the skin ...
Exposure to the radiation of UV devices should be avoided.
Persons under 18 years of age may not use UV devices.
The risk of skin cancer increases by as much as 60% from
the very first use a UV device.
The risk of skin cancer is particularly high for those who use
such devices at an early age (under 35).
The valid guidelines regarding UV devices do not exclude health
risks due to usage and therefore also not the risk of cancer.
