We'd like to congratulate you on your purchase of the Aermec FMT10 control
panel with electronic thermostat. Made
compliance with the safety standards, "FMT10" is easy to use and long-lasting.
The FMT10 regulating thermostat is a control panel for fan
coils, to be assembled on the wall.
It controls the working of the fan coil, on the basis of the mode
set and the room temperature, to maintain the desired tempera-
ture.
The panel must be wall-mounted. It is used on systems with 4
tubes, 2 tubes and 2 tubes with resistance, with the possibil-
ity to connect two On-Off valves for intercepting the water to
power the batteries.
Ambient air probe (supplied as an accessory with the probe-
holder), in an intake position in relation to the fan coil.
Each control panel can control a single fan coil.
The control panel only consists of mains voltage (120VAC
60Hz) electrical circuits; all the inputs for the probes and
controls must therefore be correspondingly insulated for this
voltage.
The valve servo commands must also be scaled for 120VAC.
FMT10 must only be installed by specialised personnel.
Disconnect the power supply before beginning any installa-
tion or maintenance operations.
Touching live components could electrocute you.
OPERATION
The thermostat maintains the temperature set for the room.
The control panel FMT10 is equipped with the following
functions:
- OFF-ON cursor
- choice of ventilation speed:
HIGH high
MED medium
LOW low;
- temperature selector (approximately +10°C ÷ 30°C)
- automatic seasonal changeover, air side (dead band of 2°C);
- management of 2-tube systems
- management of 4-tube systems
- management of 2-tube + electric heater systems
- thermostat-controlled ventilation;
- continuous ventilation;
- when it switches on, it starts the fan coil keeping the settings
that were active before the previous switch-off;
- after a power failure, the fan coil restarts keeping the settings
that were active before the switch-off;
- combined ambient air probe (supplied as an accessory with
the probe-holder), in an intake position in relation to the fan
coil.

CONNECTION CABLE SPECIFICATIONS
Use H05V-K or N07V-K type with 300/500 V insulation if
piped or ducted.
In the case of exposed wiring, use H05W-F type cable with
double insulation.

VENTILATION
Three-speed ventilation control.
The ventilation mode is set by means of the Jumper of the
electronic card (see image).
THERMOSTAT-CONTROLLED VENTILATION
Choosing the thermostat-controlled ventilation with the fan set
at a determined ventilation speed, it will switch off automati-
cally when the desired temperature has been reached.
The panel is supplied pre-set to work in thermostat-controlled
ventilation mode.
CONTINUOUS VENTILATION
Choosing continuous ventilation with the fan set at a deter-
mined ventilation speed, it will remain working even when the
set temperature has been reached.
To set the continuous ventilation mode, it is necessary to
remove the JUMPER on the electronic card.
AUTOMATIC CHANGE OVER AIR SIDE
The control allows you to automatically establish the working
mode of the fan coil in Heating or Cooling, on the basis of the
temperature set and the room temperature revealed by the fan
coil probe.
