3.8 Deep fry (180 °C)
Fill the heating pot with oil. Do not cross the "Max"
mark.
Turn the temperature knob up to 180 °C and set the
timer to the appropriate time.
If the oil is heated (heat light turns off), place your
ingredients in the frying basket and lower the basket
to cook.
When finished, wait for the oil to completely cool
down. Use the pouring lip side to empty out the oil
from the bowl.
Cook the chips for 8 – 12 minutes. Frozen chips may take slightly longer.
3.9 Stew (140 -160 °C)
Pour in just enough oil to cover the bottom of the heating pot.
Turn temperature knob to 140 – 160 °C.

Reheat (140 °C)
Set the temperature at 140 °C. Liquid foods like soup sauces stews etc. can be placed directly into
the heating pot. For solid foods like meat joints, sausages, puddings etc. use the low rack.

Defrost (80°C)
Set the temperature at 80 °C. Liquid foods like soup sauces stews etc. can be placed directly into
the heating pot. For solid foods like meat joints, sausages, puddings etc. use the low rack.
4. Cleaning and care
Emptying oil and liquids from the heating pot
Allow the Non-Stick Bowl to cool completely before emptying.
When safe to remove, lift the Bowl from the Power Base. Pour oil and liquid from the pouring lip
of the heating pot.

Always allow the bowl and its attachments to completely cool down before cleaning.
