Fitting the sliding table
The sliding table is mounted on the left of
the PRECISIO.
Proceed as follows:
• Attach one fi tting angle (1.9) each onto
the front and rear of the table frame of
the PRECISIO (Fig. 2). Insert a square nut
(1.10) into the corresponding square hole
beneath the saw table for the fastening
bolt lying towards the middle of the table.
Place bottom side of fi tting angle (2.3) on
the rib (2.4) on the table frame and screw
in place with bolt (2.5). The nut for the
second fastening bolt is stuck to a strip as
an assembly aid. First insert a nut from
the front into the lateral opening (2.1)
and screw in bolt. Then remove strip and
insert second nut into the rear opening
and screw rear fi tting angle in place.
· Mount front and rear adjusting brackets
(5.1) on the supports (5.5) with 2 bolts
(5.4) so that the suspension lugs (5.3)
point inwards (Fig. 5). Adjusting brackets
and support must lie against one another
following assembly, do not tighten bolts
yet.
• Suspend entire guide unit (rods) by sus-
pension lugs in the notches in the fi tting
angles (2.3/1.9) (Fig. 3).
• Push the head of the carriage bolt (5.2)
through the slots (2.2) in the frame, push
bolt down and tighten slightly with handle
(3.1).
• Check that the supports rest on the ad-
justing bolts (3.3) at the front and rear.
• To prepare for insertion of the sliding ta-
ble:
- Fully open clip at rotary knob (4.5).
- Locate scraper (4.6) in correct position
(bottom edge parallel to guide rod).
• Place sliding table on the inner guide rod
from the front at a steep angle (almost
vertical) (Fig. 4) so that the guide rod is
between the roller (4.4) and ball bearing
(4.3).
• Fully insert sliding table and tilt into work-
ing position (onto second guide rod).
• The sliding table can be locked with the
250 mm
rotary knob (4.5).

Adjusting the roller guide
4.1
Checking the guide play
The play between the guide rod and guide
rollers is usually adjusted in the works. Nev-
ertheless, we recommend that the guide
play at both rollers be checked as follows:
• Push on sliding table from above. When
the sliding table is moved the outer ring
of the bottom ball bearing also rotates if
the guide play is correctly adjusted.
4.2
Adjusting the guide play
• Loosen the locking nut (4.1) with the size
17 open-end spanner.
• Adjust the position of the bearing via the
cam plate (4.2) using a size 5 Allen key
(1.4).
• Re-tighten nut (4.1) following correction
of the guide play.
5
Adjusting the table height
A correctly adjusted sliding table is approx.
1 mm higher than the top of the base ta-
ble.
5.1
Checking the table height
• Fit angle fence on sliding table.
