7. stArtiNg thE pUMp

1. Screw the priming plug off and prime
the pump with water until the water is
overflowing (water pump set shall be
placed on a level ground).
2. Move the fuel valve lever to the "ON"
position.
3. To start a cold engine, move the choke
lever to the "CLOSED"position.
4. Move the throttle lever away from the
"SLOW" position about 1/3 of the way
toward the "FAST" position.
5. Turn the engine switch to the "ON"
position.
