14. Troubleshooting

Malfunctions can occur with any electrical equipment. This is not necessarily due to an
EASY defect. As such, you should check the following table to see if you can eliminate
the problem by yourself.
Malfunction
The device does not
switch on.
No response from EASY.
No sound or poor sound.
No or faulty Bluetooth
connection.

Possible cause
Power adapter is not
properly connected.
Batteries are empty.
Batteries are inserted in
wrong polarity.
There is an error in
EASY.
Sound is turned off.
Volume is set to
minimum.
EASY is not set to the
correct playback mode.
FM/DAB reception is
poor.
There is radio
interference.
Interference caused by
other radio transmitter
or devices.
Solution
Connect the power
adapter properly.
Exchange new batteries.
Insert the batteries in
correct polarity.
Disconnect and reconnect
the power plug. Then turn
EASY on again.
Adjust the volume.
Increase the volume.
Select another playback
mode.
Extend/adjust the FM/
DAB antenna.
Keep EASY away from
other electronic devices.
Increase the distance
between the EASY and the
other electronic devices.
