Charging the batteries:
• Fully charge the batteries before use.
• Plug the charger/mains adapter into the power socket and into socket (9).
• When LED (13) starts to blink, recharge the batteries.
Switching on: Turn the On/Off switch (3) to the right, thereby releasing the
transport securing device. The lasers can now be individually activated via the
control field (12).
Note: If the device is too far off the horizontal (more than 3°), a warning
signal will sound and, if switched on, the lasers will blink. Align the device
using the adjustable feet or place on a more level surface. The round vial
(8) is provided as an aid to alignment.
Note: Do not expose batteries to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire, etc. Dry
batteries must not be recharged. Used batteries must not be disposed of as
household waste. Please take them to a collection point for used batteries or for
special waste. Ask your local authority for further details. Batteries with the
recycling symbol can also be returned to our dealerships or to our Technical
Service.

Battery operation
The device can also be operated with
standard alkaline batteries (6 x type AA).
To do so, open the battery compartment
(10), remove the rechargeable batteries
and insert the new batteries as shown by
the symbols. Check for correct polarity.
Replace the cover. If the LED (13) blinks
constantly, the batteries must be
changed.
