Electrical connection

The unit must be fully isolated from the mains power supply and secured against being switched on again
before all maintenance and installation work or before opening the terminal compartment!
– The electrical connection and commissioning must only be carried out by an authorised, qualified electrician as spe-
cified in the motor terminal box and the attached wiring diagrams.
– The relevant standards, safety regulations (e.g. DIN VDE 0100) and the technical connection regulations of the ener-
gy supply company must be observed!
– An all-pole mains switch / isolator, with at least a 3 mm contact opening (DIN EN 60335-1) must be provided by the
customer.
– The network configuration, voltage and frequency must be consistent with the information on the type plate.
– When installing the electrical supply lines, it must be ensured that water cannot run along the cables in case of water
exposure.
– Side entry points are to be used for installing the connection cable. When installing the cable, it must be ensured that
the electrical protection class is maintained.
– Terminal markings correspond to the wiring diagram.
– When connecting all connectors in the terminal box, it is necessary to ensure that damage is not caused.

Never run cable over sharp edges!
Connect unit in accordance with wiring diagram.

Connection of external components

Connect unit in accordance with wiring diagram.
The control panel unit must be connected to start the ventilation unit. It must be ensured that the appropriate RJ
connector is used for panel and for controller.
Wider RJ connector: for panel
Narrow RJ connector: for controller
- Maximum cable length 20 m. 10 m are included in the scope of delivery.
- When fastening the control line to the wall or the like . the insulation must not be damaged .
Connect other external components in accordance with wiring diagram.
