4.0 Electrical connection
All work must be carried out with the equipment fully isolated from the power supply. All work may only be
carried out by a qualified person.
All relevant national and international safety and installation regulations are to be adhered to. An appliance is required
for cut off from the supply with a minimum of 3 mm contact opening of each pole. Power supply voltage and frequen-
cy must correspond to the data given on the rating plate.
The introduction of the power cable must be done so that in case of water, entry along the power cable is impossible.
The cable may not touch sharp objects. The degree of protection of the EC-centrifugal 'in-line' duct fans RR EC.. with
connected piping system is IP 44.
The electrical connection is carried out at the connecting terminals and in the terminal box IP 54 (pre-assembled).
The assigned wiring diagram SS-979 is to be considered (see fig. 4).
If the stepless speed control is carried out by the speed potentiometer PU/A 10, the wiring digram SS-980 is to be
considered (fig.5). Furthermore the SlimVent-EC models can be operated with the universal control system EUR EC
(Ref.no.1347) (observe connection example fig.6).
The electrical connection must be fully isolated from the supply until final assembly !
