2. INSTALLATION (continued)
LOCATION
When choosing the location for your appliance, make sure the floor is level and strong enough to hold the weight of
the appliance and its contents (once filled) and that the room is well ventilated. Avoid placing your appliance near a
heat source, such as a stove, boiler or radiator. Also avoid direct contact with sunlight as this can increase power
consumption.
Extremely cold ambient temperatures may also prevent the unit from operating properly. This appliance is not
intended for use in a garage or outdoors. Do not cover the unit with a blanket, plastic or any other material.
When installing, make sure that 5 cm (2") of clearance is left on both sides, 5 cm at the rear (2") and 30 cm (12")
above the unit. This will allow cool air to circulate around the appliance and improve the efficiency of the cooling
system.
CLEARING
The door of the appliance must be able to be opened completely. For
the necessary clearance, please refer to the measurements and
drawings illustrated .

LEVELLING THE APPLIANCE

To ensure proper operation and levelling of the appliance, you may
need to adjust the height of the legs. If the unit is not level, the doors
and gaskets will not be properly aligned. To do this, first ensure that
the legs touch the ground and then adjust the two leveling legs at the
front of the unit by loosening and tightening clockwise and counter-
clockwise, as required.
CLEANING BEFORE USAGE
We strongly recommend that you clean the inside of the appliance with a solution of baking soda and water and
then rinse with lukewarm water with a sponge or a soft, well-wrung cloth. Wash the shelves and fruit and
vegetable compartments with warm, soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly before putting them back into the
appliance. Clean the outside of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. For more information, refer to the CLEANING
section.
