36. For vehicles from model year 2006 onwards (from production date 06.06.2005), which are
fitted with a control unit in the factory which supports the trailer stabilisation system, this
function must be activated.
To do so, adjust the ABS-control unit -J104 with the selected diagnostics as follows:

With the "Sprung" (Jump) key in "Funktions-Bauteilauswahl" (Function-component

selection)
o Suspension
If this adjustment option is not listed in the control unit menu, the trailer stabilisation system is
not supported by the control unit that has been installed.
37. Vehicles with DRL (daytime running light) the BCM (body control module) has to be
coded with „ Guided trouble shooting ":
• Guided trouble shooting
o Choose vehicle
• with „jump" to „functions-part selection"
o Software version manager
After completion of the reprogramming of the guided troubleshooting rely on "jump
stop". Here, the error messages are automatically deleted.
If no software update available, the software is already up to date.
